Marcel was born on February 6, 1991, in Los Angeles, California, the United States of America. Young holds American nationality and was raised by his mother. He is a Christian by his religion. Young has six half-siblings: Danielle Young, Andre, Curtis, Truly, Truice, La Tanya, and Bailei Knight, the daughter of his mother’s ex-husband, Surge Knight.
Michel’le and Dr. Dre never got married, but they dated for several years and had Marcel during that time. Dre met Michel’le when she was 16 years old and Dre was 22 years old. At that time Dre was not ready to fulfill his role as a father. The aim of Dre was to build his career and he fully focused on his career.
Dr. Dre gained a lot of fame from music. He is a famous rapper, songwriter, and producer and as well as he has also appeared in some movies such as Training Day, Set It Off, The Wash, and many more. Dre has had a successful career in music. He has gained popularity for his work with the rap group N.W.A. Michel’le and Andre Romell Young were engaged but they never married. The aggressive behavior of Dr. Dre towards Marcel’s mother ended their relationship and eventually, the duo separated in 1996. In her interview with ” Breakfast Club,” Michel’le claimed abusive behavior by Dr. Dre that caused her broken nose, cracked ribs, and five black eyes. But “The Next Episode” artist denied all the allegations.
Michel’le first met Dre for the first time when she was 16 years old and was singing in a group called World Class Wreckin’ Cru, Dr.Dre was also a member of the group. When they started dating, Dre already had a few children. But both of them could not keep their relationship and eventually separated.
Dr. Dre has been in multiple relationships. In 1981 at the age of 16 Dre had his first child, a son named Curtis. After that in 1983, he had a first daughter, named LaTanya Young. Everybody has their own right to call or judge others but in the case of Michel’le, some may call her strong ( definitely she is) because she is sticking to survive. When Mihel’le began dating, she knew Dr.Dre had multiple relationships and already had children with other women. In spite of this, she continued her relationship with him.
She tried to keep her relationship with Dre but as days go by, the relationship between them gets worse. Eventually, Marcel’s mother ended the relationship with a broken nose, broken ribs, and five eyes. She shared her experience and stated “When you’re living in it, you can’t see it,” “But I couldn’t believe that I was really living like that, and it really resonated with me. Never did I wake up and ask Dre., ‘Why did you hit me?'”
Her life with Dr. Dre and her second husband Suge Knight, eventually turned worse. Michel’le took time to get out of all of this that she faced on a constant basis about Dr. Dre’s brutal behavior. She saw her uncle beat her aunt and shortly after, they were back to normal. She grew up understanding that, that was what was expected of women. That is why when Dre began being beaten she thought it was normal. Dr.Dre was physically abusive to the Young mother. Once Marcel’s father shot at her but fortunately she survived.
In her interview with VLAD TV, she said “He never tried to shoot me anymore. Thank God. But the beatings were—it was a lot,” Unfortunately, Michel’le went through worse conditions day by day, and she went from one bad situation to another.
After ending the relationship with Dre, she married Suge Knight. Suge was another bad experience for Michel’le because the abuse didn’t stop. One day Knight hit Michel’le so badly that her jaw disclosed. Nevertheless, Michel’le married Suge while he was in jail in case of murder but later she filed for divorce. While filing the papers, she found out that their marriage was null because he never legally divorced his ex-wife.
